Rules to know before you go

• Swim along the shoreline.
• Wear a bright swim cap and tow a bright float.
• Enter the water slowly.
• Do not swim alone.
• Avoid jetties, mooring areas, ferry routes and boating channels.
• Do not swim if blue-green algae is suspected.
